Chelsea have extended Billy Gilmour's contract until 2024 after exercising an option to prolong the midfielder's stay at Stamford Bridge by a further year.
Gilmour spent last season on loan at Norwich City and will be hoping to force his way into Blues boss Thomas Tuchel's plans ahead of the new campaign.
The 22-year-old's deal at Chelsea had been due to expire in June 2023 after he signed for £500,000 from Rangers when he was 16.
Gilmour has made 22 first-team appearances for Chelsea, most of which came during Frank Lampard's spell as manager.
