Chelsea have made an enquiry into the availability of Sporting Lisbon star Dario Essugo.
Essugo, 19, has spent the season on loan with Spanish outfit Las Palmas and has impressed with his displays in the heart of midfield throughout 2024-25.
The young midfielder has scored one goal in 14 matches during his time in LaLiga and has drawn the attention of the west London giants.
Mail Sport understands that the Blues have enquired over Essugo's availability as they look to bring in a midfielder during transfer deadline day.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have also agreed a deal to sign Mathis Amougou from St-Etienne ahead of tonight's transfer deadline.
