Chelsea are handed a major boost in their pursuit of Ousmane Dembele as PSG 'pull out of the race to sign the Barcelona winger on a free this summer' - with the French giants 'opting to commit funds to improving their midfield instead'

Chelsea have one less competitor in their pursuit of Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele after Paris Saint-Germain pulled out of the race, according to reports in Spain.

The French winger is out of contract this summer, meaning the Blues could sign him on a free if he fails to agree a new deal with the Spanish giants.

And according to Sport, PSG will now focus on strengthening their midfield instead - handing the Premier League side a boost as they aim to secure Dembele's signature.
