Chelsea have appointed recruitment chief Joe Shields from Southampton.
Shields held the role of Head of Senior Recruitment at St Mary's and will remain with the Saints until his obligations at the club are complete.
He joins Chelsea as their new Co-Director of Recruitment and Talent ahead of the January transfer window.
