Flamengo midfielder Matheus Franca is currently being 'chased by Crystal Palace and Chelsea', with the 19-year-old 'keen to join the Premier League'.
Franca enjoyed something of a breakthrough year in 2022, scoring six goals in 24 games across all competitions as his Flamengo side won the Copa Libertadores and Copa do Brasil.
He has struggled to match those performances this season and scored just once in nine Serie A appearances, but the Brazil Under 20 star remains one of the highest rated young players in his home country.
Franca's performances have now attracted Premier League attention, as Globo report both the Blues and Palace are keen on the youngster, who Flamengo are said to value at around £22 million.
