Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen 'miles apart' in valuation of Kai Havertz as the Blues plot stunning move for German hotshot

Chelsea are reportedly 'miles apart' from reaching an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen for German sensation Kai Havertz amid speculation of a summer move.

The Blues are working hard to pull off a major coup in landing Havertz, who is being hotly pursued by a host of top European clubs including Bayern Munich and Manchester United.

Frank Lampard's side have already agreed a move in principle for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner for £53m, and have turned their attention on 21-year-old Havertz, who has scored 15 goals and provided eight assists in 38 outings this season.
