Chelsea have had two bids of £60m and £65m rejected for centre-back Wesley Fofana. Leicester’s original stance was that the 21 year-old was not for sale.
However, according to reports Fofana has agreed personal terms with for a move to Stamford Bridge, with the clubs' varying valuations of the player now the only remaining obstacle in completing the deal.
Foxes manager Brendan Rodgers also admitted this week that: ‘Naturally if there is interest from other clubs then of course that is looked at by the club.’
Leicester value Fofana in excess of £80m and, despite their initial hope of hanging on to him for at least one more season, there is a growing sense that they will sell for the right price.
