Chelsea and Liverpool started their Premier League campaigns with yet another draw at Stamford Bridge, this time sharing the spoils 1-1.
The first half saw two goals and two disallowed strikes. Luis Diaz stretched to put the visitors in front within 20 minutes, while Mo Salah had a goal ruled out for a narrow offside call on the half-hour mark.
Axel Disasi equalised in the 37th minute, and Ben Chilwell thought he had put the Blues in front moments later, but that was fractionally offside too.
Mauricio Pochettino and Jurgen Klopp made changes in the second half, but neither could see their side seize the advantage, and it ended level.
