Carlo Ancelotti celebrated his 1,000th match as a manager in style on Saturday as his Bayern Munich side battered Hamburg 8-0 to maintain a five-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga.
The Italian was presented with a big bouquet of flowers before the match at the Allianz Arena to mark the milestone and then enjoyed his team's free-flowing and free-scoring performance.
Ancelotti enjoyed considerable success as a player, helping Milan to back-to-back European Cups in the late eighties, as well as three Scudettos with them and Roma, plus a host of other honours.
And he took this magic touch into management, winning major trophies with Milan, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
