Bruce Buck is set to remain in his position as Chelsea's chairman despite the club's sale.
Todd Boehly, the co-owner of LA Dodgers, is leading a consortium that has agreed to buy Chelsea from Roman Abramovich.
The deal, which is worth £4.25billion, still needs to be approved by both the Premier League and the UK government.
As reported by BBC Sport, Buck, who has been Chelsea's chairman since 2004, will remain in the position.
Director Marina Granovskaia is also expected to remain at Chelsea under the new owners.
