Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi has renewed his close association with Ukraine after inviting a group of children from the war-torn country to training in Sussex.
De Zerbi replaced Graham Potter at Brighton in September and his team will welcome Potter and his new club Chelsea to the Amex Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.
But De Zerbi was previously coach of Shakhtar Donetsk, where he had led his side to the top of the Ukrainian Premier League before conflict broke out in February.
When the invasion began, De Zerbi and his Shakhtar squad were taken to a bomb shelter in a Kyiv hotel.
