Brighton have agreed a £35million fee with Ajax for Mohammed Kudus.
Talks are ongoing for the Ghana international who has been a target for Brighton all summer but has also had interest from Chelsea and Arsenal.
The 23-year old, who can play behind the striker or as a winger, had told Ajax he did not wish to sign a new contract and decided a move this summer would be best for all parties.
Brighton hope to finalise details over the coming days.
Kudus, who started his career with Danish side Nordsjælland before moving to Ajax, had an impressive return of 11 goals and three assists in the Eredivise last year.
