Bayern Munich mulled a move for struggling Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk at the tail end of the January transfer window.
The Ukrainian forward moved to west London just over a year ago after being the subject of an intense bidding war between the Blues and London rivals Arsenal.
Mudryk ended up signing an eight-and-a-half-year contract in a deal worth £88million but his start to life at Stamford Bridge has been uneven at best.
The 23-year-old has made 18 Premier League appearances, scoring three goals and assisting three more, during the 2023-24 campaign, but performances across all competitions have veered between promising and ineffectual.
