Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has played down the club's approach for wantaway Chelsea striker Diego Costa.
Costa has been heavily linked with a return to his former club this summer despite helping the Blues to the Premier League title last season.
The 28-year-old was pictured partying in an Atletico shirt while on holiday earlier this month but Cerezo insists a deal for the Spain international is far from being agreed while the Spanish club remain under a transfer embargo.
'Costa is a Chelsea player at the moment, and you know for a long time now that we cannot sign anyone,' Cerezo told AS.
