Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has turned up the heat on the club's board to bring in reinforcements by warning it will be 'impossible' to navigate four competitions using only '11 or 13 players.'
Chelsea have already spent in excess of £120m this summer on Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata, but having lost John Terry and Nemanja Matic and with Diego Costa absent without leave, Conte is determined to bolster his squad.
Chelsea technical director Michael Emenalo and director Marina Granovskaia now have six days to ensure the strife of this summer is left behind when the transfer window closes on Thursday.
