Antonio Conte helped mastermind Spartak Moscow's hard-fought Champions League stalemate with Liverpool, says boss Massimo Carrera

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has been handed some credit for Spartak Moscow's recent Champions League draw with Liverpool.

The Russian outfit frustrated Jurgen Klopp's side, who were unable to find an elusive match-winning strike despite their 16 attempts on goal.

Spartak took a valuable point from the contest and, in his post match comments, manager Massimo Carrera credited Conte with giving his side a helping hand.
