Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos is thought to be nearing a move to Chelsea, but his team-mates at Vasco da Gama are pulling out all the stops to keep him after a photo surfaced of the 18-year-old being tied up.
Santos is one of his country's most highly-regarded young midfield talents, and his current side seem inclined to agree as several players physically restrained him in jest to prevent a big-money move to the Premier League.
With N'Golo Kante and Jorginho both likely to leave the club at the end of the season, Graham Potter will want to bring in fresher faces to bolster his midfield, with the Blues also linked with World Cup Young Player of the Tournament Enzo Fernandez.
