Juventus boss Andrea Pirlo has backed his side to make a move for Chelsea veteran striker Olivier Giroud in the transfer market this month.

The 34-year-old has been in electrifying form recently, striking eight goals in his last appearances at club level.

And with the Frenchman desperate for consistent opportunities ahead of this summer's European Championship, a move away from Stamford Bridge could be in the offing.
