Alvaro Morata has been hospitalised after suffering a nasty head injury in AC Milan training.
The Spaniard made the move to Italy in the summer and has struggled to find his best form but did manage to get himself on the scoresheet in their recent win over Real Madrid.
The former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid striker poked home from close range to help restore Milan's lead before they eventually found a crucial third goal late on.
The 32-year-old appeared to have been finding his feet in Milan after that performance but will now be set for a period on the sidelines.
