AC Milan have opened talks to sign Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
The Champions League semi-finalists have earmarked the 27-year-old England international as a key target for a summer rebuild and are hoping he can have the same sort of impact as his former Chelsea team-mate Fikayo Tomori.
Chelsea are looking to sell fringe players to raise revenue and there is greater book value to selling those who are homegrown as they represent pure profit on accounts.
Despite the fact new boss Mauricio Pochettino would be open to working with them, Conor Gallagher and Mason Mount are expected to be sold too this summer while others such as Edouard Mendy, Mateo Kovacic, Christian Pulisic and Kalidou Koulibaly could depart also.
