Where the Nets stand in East Group A of the NBA Cup after Friday

The Brooklyn Nets (6-10) were not looking so good in the standings for the NBA Cup after losing their first game of the event at the New York Knicks. Brooklyn made up for that loss by beating the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday, but after Friday's 113-98 loss at the Philadelphia 76ers, the Nets find themselves in a spot where they're unlikely to make it to the knockout round.

Following Friday's loss at the 76ers, Brooklyn's record within East Group A sits at 1-2 meaning that they're 1.5 games behind the Knicks and the Orlando Magic, who each have 2-0 records.
