The Phoenix Suns couldn’t let that happen again.
They had already lost to the eight-win Charlotte Hornets on the road last week and were on the verge of falling to them again Sunday at home.
Nah. Not this time.
The Suns closed on an 9-0 run in the final two minutes and five seconds to upend the Hornets, 120-113, before a sellout crowd of 17,071 at Footprint Center in the second of a back-to-back.
Devin Booker scored 30 points to lead Phoenix (19-19), winners of three straight games for the first time since taking seven in a row during its 8-1 start.
