The OKC Thunder were active during the NBA's trade deadline on Thursday.
OKC acquired Gordon Hayward from the Charlotte Hornets. The Thunder sent Vasilije Micic, Tre Mann, Davis Bertans and two second-round picks (2024 and 2025) in return.
A 33-year-old forward, Hayward is averaging 14.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game this season. He appeared in 25 of Charlotte's 50 games.
Hayward will provide some wing depth, and he'll also provide veteran leadership for a young OKC team (35-16) that's poised to make a run in the playoffs.
