The Hornets didn't give Lakers enough info about Mark Williams' medical history

Following last Saturday's tectonic trade for Luka Doncic, the Los Angeles Lakers made another sizable move on Wednesday by agreeing to move Dalton Knecht, Cam Reddish, an unprotected 2031 first-round draft pick while including a 2030 pick swap for Robert Williams, a young and promising center. Williams has shown plenty of promise in two seasons and change with the Charlotte Hornets, but he has played in just 85 games during that time.

The former first-round draft pick has had some injuries that have limited his availability, and at the time of the trade, the Lakers were reportedly not too concerned about his health moving forward.
