With the regular season now over, the Charlotte Hornets have been locked into he sixth seed of the Eastern Conference playoffs. This means that they will be facing the third seeded, Miami Heat, in the first round of the postseason.
The Hornets took on the Heat four times this season and came away with two wins and two losses. In those four meetings, both teams traded wins at each other’s home arenas. Charlotte will not have home court advantage in this series and that could be huge if it goes seven games.
The Heat took the first game of the season between the two sides in the regular season opener 104-94.
