Darren Wolfson of KTSP Minneapolis reported that the “Bobcats, Warriors, Knicks, + Wizards were also in mix for Brandon Rush. But great opportunity here w/ #Twolves. Still have $19M in space.” Even though he mistakenly mentioned the Bobcats, he meant the Hornets. We will forgive him for this honest mistake.
Brandon Rush, who played with the Golden State Warriors for the past two seasons, signed a one-year, $3.5 million deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves this summer. He wasn’t a highly sought after free agent this offseason but he is a quality pick-up for a team that needed a veteran on the win.
