The Charlotte Hornets and their General Manager, Rich Cho, have announced that they have picked up the team fourth-year option on Cody Zeller’s rookie contract. The team has also announced that they did not pick up the third-year option on P.J. Hairston’s contract.
The option to pick up Zeller’s contract was very simple for the Charlotte Hornets because he is one of their young big men that they would like to build around. Plus, he has shown some signs of being a quality NBA player.
Zeller has averaged 6.7 point per game and 5.0 rebounds per game through his first three seasons with the Charlotte Hornets.
