Charlotte Hornets’ beat writer, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer, has reported that the team is “bringing back Brian Roberts to be third point guard. Veteran minimum contract.” The veteran point guard played for the team since the 2014-2015 season and also for half of last year. He has spent four seasons in the NBA with the New Orleans Pelicans, the Charlotte Hornets, and the Portland Trailblazers.
Brian was traded from Charlotte to the Miami Heat at the trade deadline. He was apart of the three-team trade that involved the Memphis Grizzlies who sent Courtney Lee to the Hornets this past season.
