Adrian Wojnarowski reported on The Vertical’s Free Agency show that the Charlotte Hornets are interested in free agent guard, Tyler Johnson, in free agency. Johnson played for the Miami Heat this past season and is set to make near $10 million this summer. The Heat extended a qualifying offer to Johnson making him a restricted free agent.
Charlotte has a need at their point guard position with Jeremy Lin signing with the Brooklyn Nets. They now have an opening at their back-up guard/sixth man position that Johnson could fill in for the Hornets.
