Former Charlotte Bobcat player, Stephen Jackson, has announced his retirement from the NBA. Jackson who played two of his fourteen seasons in the league for the Charlotte franchise and helped the Bobcats make their first ever playoff appearance. The team has not had much success since, only making the playoffs one other time since then.
While Jackson played for the Bobcats he averaged 19.8 points per game, 4.8 rebounds per game, and 3.6 assists per game over two seasons. His best season with the team was his first one in which he was traded to the team nine games into the 2009-2010 season from the Golden State Warriors to the Charlotte Bobcats.
