The Philadelphia 76ers have two open roster spots as the offseason begins to wind down and teams prepare for training camp in October. President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey has stated that he would like to keep one roster spot open when the season begins so there is still a possibility for one more addition.
The Sixers could use another backup option at the power forward spot which opens up the possibilities for adding a veteran on the minimum. Somebody like Marcus Morris Sr. makes a lot of sense as does somebody like Davis Bertans who was waived by the Charlotte Hornets in early June.
