Quickcap: Hornets drop home finale despite season-high performance from outside

The Hornets entered the Hive for the final time this season as the Houston Rockets and MVP candidate James Harden faced off with injury-plagued Charlotte Monday night.

In their second to last game of the season, the Charlotte Hornets fell to the Houston Rockets, 100-90. Monday night's game marked the home finale and the fifth straight loss for the Hornets.

The Rockets arrived at the Hive as Charlotte returned from Detroit and the drubbing they suffered there. Al Jefferson, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Lance Stephenson, and Cody Zeller remained inactive while PJ Hairston joined the list after a knee sprain in the closing minutes against the Pistons.
