The Portland Trail Blazers take on the Charlotte Hornets Sunday night at the Moda Center in what will be a showdown of two bottom five teams in the NBA.
But one team, the Hornets, have been on a hot streak, winning four of their last five games. They fell 97-84 Friday night at Golden State.
“Defensively they are locking people down,” Blazers coach Chauncey Billups said. “And they are turning people over. They’ve been pretty physical on the ball.”
Meanwhile, the Blazers, have lost seven consecutive games and now sit just one loss away from matching their longest losing streak of the season.
