Player grades: Jared McCain leads Sixers past Hornets to end losing skid

PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia 76ers returned home on Sunday to play host to the Charlotte Hornets needing a win in the worst way. The Sixers entered the contest losers of five straight and just finished up an 0-3 road trip.

Still missing Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, the Sixers needed others to step up and help Paul George out on the floor. Philadelphia received help from plenty of options in this one and did just enough to walk away with a much-needed 107-105 overtime win at home over the Hornets. Jared McCain was fantastic and led Philadelphia with 27 points.
