The Phoenix Suns traded center Jusuf Nurkic to the Charlotte Hornets before Thursday’s NBA trade deadline.
The former Trail Blazers center was sent to Phoenix before the 2023-24 season in the trade that brought Deandre Ayton and Toumani Camara to Portland.
The Hornets received Nurkic and a 2026 first-round pick. The Suns netted Cody Martin, Vasilije Miciu0107 and a 2026 second-round pick.
Nurkic recently fell out of favor with the Suns. After appearing in 25 games with 23 starts, Nurkic was removed from the rotation entirely in January.
