Phoenix Suns big Jusuf Nurkic is listed out for Sunday's game against Charlotte at Footprint Center due to illness while Royce O'Neale is probable with a left ankle sprain he suffered Dec. 28 at Golden State.
Suns coach Mike Budenholzer hasn't played Nurkic the last two games. He benched Bradley Beal and Nurkic for Monday's game in Philadelphia. Nurkic played that game as well the next one Tuesday against the Hornets to end a three-game road trip.
However, Nurkic collected a DNP Thursday against Atlanta and Saturday versus Utah. Having last come off the bench his this third NBA season in 2016-17, Nurkic is averaging 8.
