As the NBA trade deadline nears, expect plenty of moves to go down. The Oklahoma City Thunder joined in on the fun Monday night.
The Thunder acquired the Denver Nuggets' 2030 second-round draft pick from the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for the Phoenix Suns' 2029 second-round pick.
While not the sexy headliner that the Luka Doncic and De'Aaron Fox trades were, this is a typical move by Sam Presti in his tenure as the OKC GM. A franchise can never have enough draft capital. Add this selection to the arsenal. Perhaps it gets moved later on down the road to complete a trade.
