Evaluating the summer league, the G League's OKC Blue conducted a four-team trade. The Oklahoma City Thunder affiliate is fresh off a G League championship quest and hopes to defend its title in the upcoming 2024-25 season.
To do that, the Blue acquired the rights of Buddy Boeheim. It sent the rights of Caleb McConnell to the Greensboro Swarm, who are the Charlotte Hornets' G League affiliate.
The Swarm also received the rights to Zavier Simpson. The Motor City Cruise received Raiquan Gray and a 2025 second-round pick from the Blue.
