More Hornets made Sports Illustrated's top 100 NBA players list, and that includes newcomer Nicolas Batum.
The Nicolas Batum trade was a major point of discussion among Charlotte Hornets fans after it went down. It became a battle of future vs now, and rental players vs long term projects. However, one thing that everybody could agree on was that Batum was a very good player and the Hornets would get at worst one very good year out of him.
Sports Illustrated agrees with this, and despite Batum's drop off last season, ranked him very high in their Top 100 NBA Players rankings.
