PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia 76ers will return home to host the Orlando Magic and they will be short-handed on Wednesday with Joel Embiid and Paul George sidelined. George is understandable when considering the heavy workload for him in Tuesday's win over the Charlotte Hornets, but Embiid has not played since Nov. 20.
The big fella is still dealing with a left knee issue and the Sixers are still trying to manage the injury. There is a school of thought that Philadelphia should maybe shut Embiid down for a month or two and really let him heal the left knee up, but that doesn't appear to be the plan.
