The Charlotte Hornets (39-30) were defeated by the Denver Nuggets (29-41) who have now swept the season series 2-0 over Charlotte. Nicolas Batum had a near triple-double but it wasn’t enough to get the win in this one.
The Nuggets complete the minor upset victory over the Hornets as they have now defeated Charlotte twice this season. This was a match-up that most saw the Hornets winning as they have been on a roll as of late and Denver was coming off of three straight losses on the road.
