The Brooklyn Nets (21-42) went into their short road trip hoping to end their losing streak at six games with a win over Miles Bridges and the Charlotte Hornets (15-48). With the Hornets playing on the second night of a back-to-back, Brooklyn had the chance to take advantage of the amount of rest they had along with being the healthier team by far, but things do not always work out as planned.
The Nets lost to the Hornets 105-102 despite leading by as many as 17 points, including having a 97-83 lead in the fourth quarter before being on the wrong end of a 22-5 run to Charlotte.
