According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, former and probably soon to be Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges has been suspended “30” games as a result of the domestic violence incident that he was arrested for last summer.
I keep putting the 30 in quotes because of the strangeness of the ruling but we’ll get to that.
There’s a lot to unpack in this 223-character Tweet from Shams. First and most obviously is the length of the suspension. It’s a 30 game suspension but he’s getting 20 games of time served. That’s strange because one, he missed all 82 games.
