NBA suspends Miles Bridges for “30” games

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, former and probably soon to be Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges has been suspended “30” games as a result of the domestic violence incident that he was arrested for last summer.

I keep putting the 30 in quotes because of the strangeness of the ruling but we’ll get to that.

There’s a lot to unpack in this 223-character Tweet from Shams. First and most obviously is the length of the suspension. It’s a 30 game suspension but he’s getting 20 games of time served. That’s strange because one, he missed all 82 games.
