North Carolina's recent anti-LGBT law could affect Charlotte's chances at hosting the 2017 All-Star Game, the NBA said in a statement.
North Carolina has been in the spotlight the last couple days because the governor chose to pass a bill that invalidates legal protections for LGBT individuals. The bill is anti-LGBT, so it's no surprise it's received a very strong reaction from businesses and social media networks. Today, the NBA made a statement about the law's potential impact on the 2017 All-Star Game, which is currently scheduled to be held in Charlotte.
