As if the 2024-25 season couldn't have been any uglier for the Charlotte Hornets, they received even more painful news about their reputation in the league on Tuesday.

The Hornets finished the regular season with the third-worst record in the league at 19-63. In the East, their win-loss tally was only better than the Washington Wizards' 18-64 record.

Charlotte's ugly campaign meant that they missed the playoffs for the ninth straight year. The last time the franchise made it to the postseason was back in 2015-16, when they suffered a first-round exit against the Miami Heat.

Now, on Tuesday, the Hornets took another painful hit when an anonymous survey conducted among NBA players identified them as the "worst organization" in the league.
