PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia 76ers needed one. Badly.
Back at home against the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday following a 5-game losing skid and a tough 0-3 road trip, the Sixers needed a win. Just something to feel good about.
It wasn't pretty, but the Sixers walked away with a 107-105 overtime win over the Hornets thanks to the heroics of rookie Jared McCain. The No. 16 pick of the draft delivered 27 points on 10-for-18 shooting and knocked down three triples. He was fantastic on Sunday and the Sixers needed all of it after seeing a 16-point 4th quarter lead slip away.
