Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is out for Oklahoma City's home game against the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday due to a left ankle sprain.
Gilgeous-Alexander sustained the injury during Oklahoma City’s 118-112 road win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday. Despite returning to close out the contest, the fifth-year guard will miss his 12th game of the season on Tuesday.
“He came into shootaround today and wasn’t good enough to go tonight,” Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault said. “These are things that, with treatment, they improve. We’re just going to put him on track to improve it as fast as possible.
