Former North Carolina forward Leaky Black is staying close to home as he continues his basketball journey after five years with the Tar Heels.
After playing with the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA Summer League the past few weeks, Black has officially signed a two-way deal with the franchise on Wednesday. President of Basketball Operations and General Manager Mitch Kupchak announced the deal but with team policy the details were not revealed.
Black received limited playing time with the Hornets in the California Classic and NBA2K24 Summer League, appearing in three games averaging 2.
