Lakers may rest LeBron James for one or both of their next two games

The Los Angeles Lakers will get back to work following the All-Star break on Wednesday when they host the Charlotte Hornets. It is a game that was originally scheduled for January and had to be postponed due to the wildfires that ravaged the Southland last month.

The following evening, they will visit the Portland Trail Blazers before they go through a challenging stretch of their schedule that begins with a road contest versus the Denver Nuggets on Saturday.

LeBron James elected to sit out of Sunday's NBA All-Star Game, citing foot and ankle soreness, which led to lots of criticism.
