Kemba Walker recently confirmed that he has switched his shoe deal from Under Armour to Jordan Brand during his trip with the Charlotte Hornets to China. Kemba has been with Under Armour since the summer after he was drafted by the Charlotte franchise with the ninth overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft.
He signed a four-year deal with Under Armour after he was drafted and that deal has run out this off-season so Kemba Walker was a free agent in-terms of shoe deals. Any shoe company could sign him to a contract and with the owner of the Charlotte Hornets being Michael Jordan, the owner and founder of Jordan Brand, it isn’t surprising that Kemba signed with the brand.
